My name is Ethan, Founder of Greenie. Vintage clothing has always been a part of my life. Being the youngest of three I was thrown old clothes every which way, from my siblings, parents, cousins, and uncles. I was dressed head to toe in gear 10-20 years older than me for my whole childhood and naturally I began to shop for this style as I grew older.

When I was 12 my sister and I started a vintage snapbacks YouTube account, thrifting, restoring, and sharing finds of old hats.

When I was 17, I started a sneaker customization business repairing old sneakers, painting them and customizing it to give a second life.

When I was 20, I had the idea to share my love for vintage at my University to give a more accessible and sustainable alternative to fast fashion. With a few friends we scrounged up $800 and handpicked clothes for weeks from local thrift stores until we had enough inventory for our first popup shop at the University of Maryland in March 2022. That day Greenie was born, we nearly sold out, and I have continued with the business ever since.

It's been a blessing to continue Greenie as my personal brand, and for all the continued support I am truly grateful. Excited to say this is just the beginning though 💚.
